My time as a mentee under the guidance of Barbie Layton was an enriching experience. Throughout my time learning how to apply modern business practices from September 2019 through January, 2020, I was supported and coached everyday to fine tune my skills. She made the most of teachable moments and coached me on the spot while I was in the moment. Barbie is transparent and supportive even through instances of hardships I personally experienced in my career. It is comforting to know that she has my back and she continually encourages me to be the best at what I do. I just landed the job I had always wanted that she knew I would get with her coaching.
